Height and feel are two different variables. A 1" Soft with a 1" Firm is not necessarily the same experience as one 2" core — same nominal height, different construction.
Each piece keeps its own location. Pick another location and add a second piece there — one worked into the fill and one under the pillow is a different setup than two together in the pocket.
There's no verdict here and no "right" configuration. These are the configurations the system allows you to try — record what you used, sleep on it, then change it.
The question everyone asks
Will this feel like a block under my head?
No — and here's why. LiftCore™ support sits underneath the pillow's comfort layer, not against your face. Your head still lands on your own pillow. What changes is what's holding that pillow up.
The cores are shaped and sized to sit under the pillow surface rather than form a hard edge inside it. The soft cores flex with the pillow; the firm cores hold their shape while the fill above them still gives. Either way, the layer you touch is the pillow you already sleep on.
Height is yours to choose too. Most people start with a single 1" core and add from there, so the change is a small lift rather than a slab. If a stack ever does feel like too much, you take a core out or move it — that's the whole point of a system you can rebuild.
Your pillow is part of the setup. Placement, pillow construction and the other LiftCores you use can all change how a configuration feels. Try your setup lying down before deciding.

A stack looks one way standing next to the bed and feels like something else entirely once your head is on it in your normal sleep position. Give a configuration a full night before you decide it's wrong.

Being able to change it isn't a caveat — it's the whole design. A different pillow can call for a different stack. So can the same pillow a year from now. Your body gets the final vote.
The mechanism
Why head drop matters
Head drop is the term people use for the head settling lower during the night as a pillow's fill compresses and migrates away from where the head rests.
It happens regardless of how firm a pillow feels at bedtime. Firmness at the moment you lie down describes one instant; a pillow's fill keeps redistributing under sustained weight for hours after that.
LiftCore™ addresses this by putting support in a defined layer that isn't part of the pillow's loose fill, so the support element and the comfort element are two separate things you can change independently. That is a description of how the product is constructed, not a claim about what it does for anyone's body or sleep.

Is Crown Lift a pillow?
No. Crown Lift® Pillow Fix is a support system that works with the pillow you already own. Your pillow provides the comfort layer you're used to; LiftCore™ support adds lift underneath it.
What is a stack?
A stack is simply the combination of LiftCore™ support you're using at a given time, together with how it sits relative to your pillow. One LiftCore is a stack. Two LiftCores together are a stack. Your stack is a description of your current setup, not a product name.
Where does Crown Lift actually go?
Crown Lift® uses a pocket pillowcase: your own pillow goes into the case, and the LiftCore™ support sits in the dedicated pocket so it stays put through the night instead of sliding around loose in the bed.
Is a stack described only by its height?
No. A stack is described by which LiftCores you used and how many, not by a single number. Two setups can share the same nominal height and still be built from different LiftCores.
Do I have to buy a new pillow?
No. That's the entire point of Crown Lift® Pillow Fix. It's designed to work with the pillow you already sleep on rather than replace it.
How do I know which stack to start with?

Can I change my stack later?
Yes, and you're expected to. A first stack isn't a forever stack. You might use one setup with one pillow and a different setup with another, or change it as your pillow ages.
